Ex-DOGE startup Cathedral's AI agents got inside Anthropic's internal systems in under 12 hours, Washington Post reports
Cathedral, a cybersecurity startup founded by former DOGE staffers and backed by a16z and Sequoia, says its AI agents penetrated Anthropic's internal systems in under 12 hours, including Slack channels where its most advanced models are discussed, according to a draft report reviewed by The Washington Post. Anthropic confirmed researchers reached a limited set of sales, HR and IT systems, but not customer conversations, model code or weights, and said Cathedral overstated the national-security angle and did not fully follow its bug-bounty rules. Lux Capital's Josh Wolfe, calling Cathedral a 'Lux family co', said the test was 'quite serious'.
