VeraCorpus Holdings Pte. Ltd.
Fine art attribution, provenance, and pricing database.
The founders
The company
VeraCorpus is building a structured digital archive for fine art that consolidates centuries of scattered scholarship—catalogues raisonnés, exhibition histories, auction ledgers and primary records—into one queryable database. Against that record, any art object can be tested for attribution, provenance and price.
The art market still runs on lost paper trails, contested attributions and opaque pricing, and buyers increasingly want data-backed due diligence rather than gut feel. VeraCorpus is betting that computational methods can finally make centuries of fragmented scholarship searchable and testable.
Registered in Singapore in 2026 by founders Lau Wei and Poh Jia Rong, the company frames itself as a research laboratory rather than a straight software play. It has identified what it calls a critical expertise gap between art history and computer science, and is trying to close it.
The founding team is pairing traditional art historical scholarship with advanced computational analysis, and is deliberately cultivating cross-disciplinary talent through project-based placements for graduate students and early-career academics from both the humanities and technical sciences.
