Operating system for the parts and service industries MoreLess
Intropy is a London-based AI company founded in 2024 by YihKai Teh and Franziska Kirschner, former researchers at UK AI insurtech Tractable. It builds an intelligence layer for spare-parts distributors, manufacturers and recyclers, automating inventory, pricing and related decisions inside existing ERP systems rather than only surfacing recommendations for manual review. The platform aggregates fragmented structured and unstructured data so operators move from periodic spreadsheet reviews to continuous, proactive decisions as market conditions change. Since launch Intropy says its technology has processed more than $10 billion in spare-parts demand; the automotive spare-parts market alone moves over $4 billion per day. In July 2026 the company raised an $11 million Seed round led by Felix Capital, with Quiet Capital and existing investors General Catalyst and Firstminute Capital participating (General Catalyst led the prior undisclosed pre-seed). Proceeds fund product development, team growth and a New York office for US expansion. Sources: Tech.eu 30 Jul 2026; intropy.ai.
