Embankment is a Copenhagen-based fintech company founded in 2022 by David Svante Hansen and Martin Raun. The company provides a technology-driven platform for end-to-end fund management, administration, and depositary services for alternative investment funds and their managers. Embankment aims to address what its co-founder, David Svante Hansen, described as a "technology vacuum" in the fund administration industry by leveraging AI-powered solutions to improve efficiency and transparency.

The company's target clients are fund managers in the alternative investment space, including private equity, real estate, infrastructure, renewable energy, and venture capital. Its business model is B2B, offering a modular, cloud-based platform that allows clients to select the specific services they need. This was followed by a €15 million Series A round in December 2025, co-led by BlackFin Capital Partners and Smedvig Ventures, with the goal of further developing its software and expanding into European markets, including opening a new office in Luxembourg.
